Does just the sound of the word menopause send chills up your spine? Have you ever wondered what you're going to do when it’s your turn? Do you find yourself looking in the mirror, wanting to know how to get a grip on the changes that you are going through? Or, have you already experienced menopause, and now you can sit in the bleachers and cheer the rest of us on?

Fleming Isle, FL - 12/12/2010 - Menopause is a natural and inevitable time in a woman’s life, but just the anticipation of this event can have one on "pins and needles". From hot flashes to weight gain, every woman will experience different symptoms and to various degrees. Instead of focusing on what we can't do, we'll benefit most by setting our mind on what we can do. With our physician's care and educating ourselves, we can discover that the latter part of our life can be the greater.

As it builds precept upon precept, Pausing With God is a unique book that speaks to all women of all ages. Whether you're approaching menopause or finding yourself smack-dab in the middle of it, we can gather comfort and encouragement from knowing that this is the very season that fine-tunes our bodies.

Author Sheri Powell wants us to know that we are not alone and that it is possible to walk successfully through this transition. Not until she had to struggle with the symptoms herself did she realize the needs and challenges women face with menopause. But when she took this time to pause with God, she also discovered the many blessings that He wants to bestow upon us during this era of new beginnings.

It’s goal is to share available resources that can help willing participants be all that God has created them to be.

Hi, I am taking over the Bible Study on Acts. I am starting over and will be asking questions and if you want to answer them on line that is fine but if you don't that is ok too. I may be doing a verse, verses, or maybe just a word. I might have you read a whole chapter but we will just work on a little at a time. Reading the chapter means that we will have the verses in context.

 

Not sure what day yet or how many days a week to do it in. I want you to be able to read it and have time to answer questions if you want. Let me know if interested and what you think.
