Bio; Short Professional. Can be edited inside.: I'm a madly in love with God, Christ-follower, a happily-married writer, and mom of a teenage son. I'm not perfect at anything.

I’ve made stupid, sinful mistakes, and often traveled down the wrong roads. God never gave up on me, never let go, and welcomed me home when I stumbled back seeking His grace. Thanks to undiagnosed Lyme disease, my medical journey could be used by several medical television shows. I've been poked, prodded, and diagnosed with way too many diseases. Finally in January 2006 the culprit was found--Lyme disease. Since then, I continue on antibiotics and/or supplements.

This wasn't my first journey through difficulties--there have been many. I serve an awesome God who has helped me through molestation by a baby-sitter, assault, rape, divorce, cancer, death, six surgeries, and chronic illness.

There's been nothing enjoyable about suffering and pain but I wouldn't change it for the world, because through it all I’ve grown closer to the God who created, formed, and loved me before I was born.
