My background is a blend of private and public service embracing a diverse combination of roles and responsibilities. Responding to a need in my church, I developed a passion for the hearing impaired and spent 18 years as a nationally certified free-lance interpreter for the deaf.

Arriving in Georgia in 1988, I served 10 years as Executive Director of the Fayette County Council for Domestic Violence (now known as Promise Place. During that time I felt the need to make a difference in our local government and was elected the Fayette County Board of Commissioners where I served for 12 years.

For the past 8+ years I have owned my own financial services practice based in Fayetteville, GA where I specialize in mutual funds, annuities, and insurance products to individuals, families and small businesses.

In addition, for the past 2+ years I have volunteered with the PTC JobSeekers providing job seekers with:
1. A monthly, free 2 hour resume class,
2. A monthly, free LinkedIn Training class specifically designed for JobSeekers, and
3. A One hour, no cost/no obligation, consultation for JobSeekers who need financial advice on accessing retirement accounts while minimizing taxes and penalties; how to use retirement accounts to start a business without taxes or penalties; or those who wanting a representative who knows their unique circumstances and goals to answer their investment questions.
