These are just a few powerful words used to describe iBloom Founder and President, Kelly Thorne. Though she wasn’t raised in a Christian home, from a very young age Kelly knew God had a plan and purpose for her life. She knew she was created for something significant. So, she set out on a journey to cultivate an intimate relationship with Christ, discover God’s custom blueprint for her life and live into her God-given purpose.

For years Kelly has spent daily quiet time cultivating her relationship with God – reading, studying, praying, journaling, listening and patiently waiting for Him to guide her through life. She has relied on her Heavenly Father to mold and shape her into the woman He desires, heal her from an autoimmune disorder, take her on a personal journey toward living a life of balance, reveal her future husband and provide for her every need. Kelly’s life has been shaped by sacrifice, trusting God, waiting patiently and listening for God’s still small voice.

Kelly has a variety of ministry and leadership experience that has significantly influenced her life. As a senior in high school, Kelly was the President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and created a camp for underprivileged, at-risk girls in Berea, KY. She directed the camp for several years and then passed the baton to other leaders who still lead the camp today. At the age of 18 she started a Children’s Church in her home church in Berea, KY and later went on to become an ordained Children’s Minister at Crossroads Christian Church in Lexington, KY.

At the age of 24, Kelly saw an overwhelming ache in women. She saw women stuck in the mundane, just going through the motions of life. They were oblivious to the fact that God had created them uniquely for a specific purpose, rushing through life as if it were a dress rehearsal for something more. These women were living lives that lacked passion, balance, purpose, fulfillment and significance. But she also saw women desperate to live their lives differently, longing to make a significant impact, with no idea where to begin. Thus, iBloom was born!

iBloom has become the go-to place for Christian life coaching for women. iBloom exists to inspire and empower every woman in the world to discover her unique God-given design and live a life of passion, balance, purpose, fulfillment and significance. Though Kelly is the visionary leader of iBloom, she still works with a limited number of coaching clients and is available to speak locally and nationally on a variety of topics that inspire and empower others.

In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending quality time with her boyfriend (Jon), family and friends. She is a huge fan of McDonalds Diet Coke, bright and cheery colors, University of Kentucky Football & Basketball, Tyler Perry movies and just about everything girly! Kelly resides in Lexington, KY.
