What do I need to host a Webinar through CWA?
You need a Webcam, that handles Video. Not just pictures. Most Webcams do both. Quality does matter when it comes to how your video feed will come out to your attendees.
Here are some choices to get you started. Always make sure the webcam works with your operating system.

You need a Microphone.This might be built into your computer already. Yes, you can use that. The BEST set up is a headphone, Microphone combined set up. This keeps outside noise more at bay. Always make sure a new one is compatible with your computer.

You need your computer!
Well, I guess that's a given, but yes you do need it! During attending or hosting a webinar you should close out all running applications
. (Leave open what you need to use if you are going to host)
Adobe Connect Pro works both on PC and MAC. No downloads are needed. Unless for the rare occasssion you are the 2% that does not have Flash Installed.
Can I pre-check my equipment before a meeting?
What can I do during my webinar that I am hosting?
You can take it as far as you want to learn it! With Adobe, you can keep it simple or take it to any level you want to use it. The simplist would be having your attendees in the Webinar Room and they listen, (and View you via live video). All along they can chat with each other. Show your screen while you talk.
Or you can kick it up!
Share your screen; share your screen at three levels: window, application, or entire desktop. Expand the viewing area for shared applications, documents, and whiteboards.
Send us a Document (PowerPoint, PDF, Word) and we will have it in your room, ready for you to share with your attendees. Work through an application, to teach your attendees. Share your Browser to discuss Web, Online topics.
Have Polls, Question and Answer Sessions, Give them something to download...just for them.

How many attendees can I have in my Webinar?
Up to 95 attendees. This is what we have with Adobe Connect Pro. As the need arises we will upgrade to a higher level room. We will also use Go To Webinar where there is no video feed, but you can have up to 1000 Attendees. Please let us know if that is something you need. We will open that as sooooon as the need arises.
Can I decide who attends my Webinar?
Absolutely! You can make your Webinar Private or Public. If it is a Public Webinar, you might want to add to our Events here inside CWA. Let women know in the Forums, or even sponsor a spot in our weekly newsletter to announce it.
Is my Webinar Recorded?
Yes, if you hit Record! We will NEVER watch a Webinar that you want to keep private. And No one else will either. You will be able to access your Adobe Admin area and make your recordings public or keep private. You will also be able to download the Flash Version so you can upload to your own site and give it what ever privileges you want.
