I'm Penny, a.k.a. Traveling Penny or Gracelily. The Gracelily name is who I am in Christ. Thanks to the grace the Lord has made available to me through Jesus and the Holy Spirit, I am brand new. Also, my middle name is Sue which means: Full of grace, gracefullily, etc. The other is because I enjoy traveling to wherever I can, as often as I can, which is far from as often as I like.

I live in East Texas, have for 21 years. The Lord brought here from Albuquerque, N.M. We came because the Lord required it, not because we wanted, but He has met us here and with his presence He has made this area glorious. Texas is a whole other country -- much to see. I hope to.
I am looking forward to getting to know others here, not just the Texans.
I am married, 25 years, 4 children, 4 grandchildren. Life is good!

I am 'being woven' daily, moment by moment.
I live in Portland, across the bay from Corpus Christi. I have lived here 20 years now, am a native Californian, but really born 'Navy'. My father was a Navy doctor so we moved a lot ... were never stationed here. I am married to a wonderful man for 16 1/2 years, happier than I could have imagined because the LORD is in the center filling us with His love. We have no children and are 62 years of age.
I spent my career life teaching young children to read and write and to do 'rithmetic'. I retired as a children's librarian at the Greenwood Public Library in Corpus Christi.
Bible study, quiet times, reading, crocheting baby blankets are favorite things to do. I once was a creative weaver and spinner of wools, backpacker and hiker, climbing Mount Whitney in California (14,494 feet), skied both cross-country and downhill.
The LORD weaves the woof through His warp of my life, creating me more into His image. I am thankful that He never gave up on me through my years of wandering.
